YU CHEN
Yu is a landscape designer who focuses on complexity system theory.
With learning Landscape Architecture for over seven years, Yu has her understanding as the landscape is one of the living networks that connect humans with social life, ecology, and culture. She has a specific and unique way of thinking and seeing the world through dynamic relationships and patterns.
She believes that applying system theory to landscape design could resolve systemic problems in urban space with a shift in our perceptions, thinking, and values.

Assisted the design of Jiabei Country Park: Prepared the presentation of design schedule for the project.
Participated in the design of Jiabei Village Renovation: Produced diagrams of site research. Generated presentation of site analysis. Illustrated the layout of the village with models made in PVC expansion sheet.

Assisted the detailed planning and design of Fujian Fuquan National Historical and Cultural Village: Built the 3D model of the village with SketchUp. Produced site analysis using Indesign. Produced visual renderings using Photoshop.
