This project is to bridge the down city with the rest part of Providence and let it influence beyond.

The existing down city is blocked by the highway on the west side and blocked by the providence river on the east side at same time. Also, there is no systemic open space network and no hierarchy of the space.

With constructing a new market, it connects the Providence Mall with the commercial area, which would be a new corridor with rich shopping experience.

The open space can be extended by continuous roof green space beyond the highway.

With detail design, it bridges two public buildings through the main circulation, then two sub circulations connect the two sides of the block. The connection between interior and exterior space is completed by the second floor walking system and green roofs.

The main street bridging public space is used as deli street, which is one kind of food market consisting of food cars.
